We strongly believe in the essence of Kiwi-style, home-cooked food, crafted with fresh, genuine, and wholesome seasonal ingredients. Our commitment is to support local food suppliers wherever possible, including Epicurean Garden, True Earth, Bostock Chicken, as well as Little Island Creamery, Brave Brewery, and Stonecroft Winery for our refreshing beverages.
Our baristas take immense pride in serving Zealong Tea from Waikato and our own chocolatey, organic, ethically roasted "Equality" coffee.
Reena and Tinnu, both born and raised in Hawke's Bay, now steer our café with their deep-rooted family values and ethos. It was Reena’s lifelong dream to own a café, a vision now brought to life. Embracing the rich traditions of our land, they believe in empowering our chefs to tap into their creativity and harness their strengths. This trust and freedom have given rise to an ever-evolving, delightful menu that refreshes weekly.
